Our Model
We typically accept donations from our members early in the year. We then invite organizations serving Perry County to submit grant applications. Our members review the grant applications and vote on the top three finalists, who give presentations during our November awards banquet. Our members vote for one deserving recipient during the banquet.

Making a Difference
Impact 100 Perry County has a proud history of providing meaningful grants to deserving local organizations. Our first grant of $10,000.00 was awarded in 2018. As of the end of 2024, we have awarded $108,000.00 in grant monies to Perry County organizations (with an additional $4,000 saved back and remaining - to be added to our 2025 Grant amount)! The more members we have, the larger and more transformative our grants become.
2019
Our second grant of $15,000 was given to the Hope Center for Therapeutic Horsemanship in 2019 to provide EAGALA training for employees and no-cost classes for local young persons experiencing trauma and other emotional difficulties.
2018
Our first grant of $10,000.00 was given to the Perry County Senior Center in 2018 allowing the Senior Center to purchase a vehicle to provide an extra, necessary meal route so all of our seniors would be able to eat hot meals.
2020
In 2020, our membership had a "tie" vote for the Perryville Primary Center and the Life Enrichment Center, so we split the funds and gave each organization $9,000.00. The Primary Center purchased new books for its library, and the Life Enrichment Center purchased exercise equipment and materials to enable its clients to grow their own yummy food!

AND....
2020
Because we had a "tie" vote in 2020, that meant two of our three finalists received funds, but not the third. One of our members felt called to remedy the situation, and gave an additional $9,000.00 so that the Regional Family Crisis Center could install new flooring for the safety of its clients.
2021
In 2021, our pooled funds were limited due to difficulties from the coronavirus that changed so many lives the prior year - but our members pulled $12,000.00 together for New Life Mission Inn to purchase appliances and other materials for its Drop-In Center.
2022
In 2022, we had a total of $15,000 granted! We used these funds for 3 major projects:
$2000 - "Lucas & Friends Park"
$5000 - "Shop with a Cop"
$8000 - "SMTS" - To help purchase a van
In 2023, we were able to present United Enterprise, LLC with a check for $15,000 for their "Doggy Daycare Project: Pawsability"!

In 2024, we were able to present Perry County Middle School with a check for $14,000 for their "Challenge Day" for 2025 7th grade students throughout the Perry County Region!
